Learn more about how you can help teammates who may have a disability that is not visible and learn more about specific ways you can help them out.

The latest Toolbox Talk focuses on how to support coworkers who have an invisible disability that may generate challenges in the workplace.
An invisible disability is a physical, mental, or neurological condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities and is 鈥渋nvisible鈥 to most onlookers. Unlike disabilities with distinct physical signs and attributes, invisible disabilities may not affect the outward appearance of an individual. Invisible disabilities can include conditions such as chronic pain, mental illness, diabetes, neurological disorders, and many others. People who suffer from these conditions can face unique challenges due to not appearing ill, such as having difficulty receiving proper medical care, workplace accommodations, resources, and other forms of aid.

This Toolbox Talk will aid you to better understand the nature of these disabilities, and how you can help your teammates during the workday and ensure everyone is in an environment where they can thrive.
