Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú joined over 50 other organizations in urging the United States Senate to support funding that would enhance indoor air quality in educational settings throughout the Country.
The organizations participating in the Coalition for Healthier Schools strongly endorse $100 million in funding in FY 2026 for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s highly effective programs to help schools improve environmental health for children, teachers, and staff.
Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú and the other signers attest to the fact that the EPA’s indoor air and children’s health programs have delivered high-quality, science-based guidance, training, and resources to schools across the country for decades. The EPA’s has been the federal government’s primary source of assistance to schools for preventing and resolving indoor air quality issues, such as reducing asthma triggers, enhancing ventilation, and effectively managing cleaning products and chemicals. This tool is especially valuable for schools in low-income and rural area.
