New EVOLVE Quick Tools

New feature from EVOLVE that allows a user to quickly add an elbow with a short straight or add a straight.

Article content provided by Evolve.

The new ad fitting and add straight features in Evolve Mechanical let you add an elbow with a short straight or simply add a straight in just a few clicks. It may seem simple, but it saves a lot of time. Previously, you had to select the pipe or duct, choose the right service, pick the elbow, add a straight piece, and then adjust its length. Now, you can do all of that with just a few clicks, and even set the elbow鈥檚 rotation before finalizing its placement. It also lets you control the full-length straight piece based on the material. For example, when working with ductwork, you might want a full-length straight to keep the layout clean and avoid many short pieces. But with pipes, a shorter piece might work better, giving you more flexibility to move and adjust the design.
